Dear Councillor Tierney,

Testosterone levels and sperm production can be reduced by ingesting toxic substances. Hydrofluosilicic acid is such a toxic substance. That's how the EPA classifies it. If you don't know this yet, you haven't been paying attention or haven't done any independent research of your own.

Commonly observed effects in fluoride-exposed animals include: oxidative stress, damaged sperm, reduced sperm count, and reduced fertility.

These are just a sample of the research that reports the effects of fluoride ingestion on men's reproductive health. It has been shown that high levels of fluoride ingestion over short periods of time equally affects those who consume low doses over a long period of time. You and some of our children may very well end up without grandchildren...

The chemical formula for this acid is H2SiF6. That's 6 atoms of fluorine. It is the most chemically reactive elemental substance on earth. Know your chemistry? One 8 ounce glass of water contains many trillions upon trillions of fluorine atoms. Some of us are more susceptible to this element's adverse health effects because of chemical and environmental sensitivities. Why should so many of us have to suffer for a still unproven benefit against tooth decay for a few individuals?

To make matters worse, there are other contaminants found in this acid used for artificial drinking water fluoridation: fluorine, lead, phosphorus, HF (hydrogen fluoride), arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, iron, iodine, mercury, selenium, silver and a number of radioactive nucleotides. Most of these substances are naturally found in nature and in our bodies, except for fluorine, hydrogen fluoride and the radioactive stuff. The others are not a healthy part of our bodies, they are in elemental form and are toxic to us when swallowed in large enough quantities whether at one time or over a period of years.

Are you and your family still drinking this contaminated water? I certainly hope not, because it's not good for you or for them.

Every statement made in this letter can be substantiated by currently available data from scientific research or from other reliable sources.

Please do not forward a response with the standard statement from either the Dental or the Medical Officer of Health in response to this letter. I am all too familiar with these statements that are full of misrepresentations of facts and misleading, unproven statements, not the least of which is the false claim that the WHO endorses water fluoridation.

Please do something to bring an end to dumping of hydrofluorosilicic acid used for the fluoridation of our municipal water supply. How about putting forward a motion for either a moratorium on this wasteful and unlawful practice until lawful, hard, verifiable and valid data are available about its claimed benefits, or voting it out of existence because such valid data are non-existent?

Subject: Ottawa Public Health Should Look at Adverse Effects

April 4, 2011

Councillor Tim Tierney
City Hall
110 Laurier Avenue W
Ottawa, Ontario
K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

Our Public Health office has never bothered to assess the intake of fluoride from all sources in our city. They have never assessed the prevalence of cancer, cardiovascular disease, renal disease, colic in babies, irritable bowel syndrome, arthritic-like complaints, thyroid problems, pineal gland impairment, thyroid impairment, diabetes and how fluoride ingested from drinking water and other sources may be contributing to these ailments. So, what are we paying these people for?

Using drinking water to deliver a medication is unethical medical practice and a violation of pharmacological practice because it is virtually impossible to prevent ingestion by those population sub-groups who are known to be at risk of fluoride over-exposure and when the dosage can not be monitored by those ingesting the hydrofluorosilicic acid laced water.

It is also extremely difficult to prevent skin exposure to municipal drinking water..

It is also impossible to control the intake of a medication when it is put into drinking water because there is a huge variability in how much fluoride is ingested in a day by anyone:

    A lactating mother,
    an athlete,
    a labourer,
    a fireman,
a military person in the field
    diabetics
may drink up to 10 times or more water than the average Canadian. Ingesting more than 4 mg of fluoride daily is known to cause many adverse health effects. By drinking 10 times more water and beverages made with fluoridated water, they ingest 10 times more fluoride. At a concentration of 0.7 mg per liter, that means these people will ingest a dose of more than 7 mg of fluoride daily. How safe is that? How are these people protected from possible adverse health effects.

Why has Ottawa Public Health never been interested in investigating the adverse effects of the artificial water fluoridation policy? What are we paying these people for?

Every statement made in this letter can be substantiated by currently available data from scientific research or from other reliable sources.

Please do not forward a response with the standard statement from either the Dental or the Medical Officer of Health in response to this letter. Dear Councillor Deans,

Do you know that hydrofluorosilicic acid is the name of the substance used by our City to fluoridate our drinking water? Do you know that its chemical formula is H2SiF6 but also contains a number of noxious impurities? Do you know where that acid comes from?

This may come as a surprise to you, but it comes from the wet scrubbers of the phosphate fertilizer industry producing this highly hazardous, toxic waste product and that it is not a pharmaceutical grade substitute for a fluoridating agent.

Do you know what other noxious substances this acid contains when it is received at our water treatment plant to be injected into our drinking water? The specifications, of which we have a copy, from the supplier clearly state that this acid contains the following other toxic elements in solution: fluorine, lead, phosphorus, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, iron, iodine, lead, mercury, selenium, silver, plus a compound labelled HF (hydrogen fluoride?).

This is what you swallow with every glass of water you drink. Do you still want to drink this tap water now?

Every statement made in this letter can be substantiated by currently available data from scientific research or from other reliable sources.

Please do not forward a response with the standard statement from either the Dental or the Medical Officer of Health in response to this letter. I am all too familiar with these statements that are full of misrepresentations of facts and misleading, unproven statements, not the least of which is the false claim that the WHO endorses water fluoridation.

Subject: Fw: Fluoridation Delays Tooth Eruption - No teeth - No Carries

April 7, 2011

Councillor Tim Tierney

Ottawa, Ontario
K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

Please take note of the following information and guide yourself accordingly.

"When fluoridation is seen to cause delayed tooth eruption, what else is it doing to our bodies?"

This is incredible, our health agencies would rather poison infants and those allergic or sensitive to fluoride regardless of all the other health effects that are affecting so many, all for an erroneous less than one whole cavity reduction! Listen to Health Canada's Chief Dental Officer (Dr. Peter Cooney) below.

The following news release by Canadians Opposed to Fluoridation ~ Canadiens Opposés à la Fluoration clearly demonstrates how this minuscule cavity reduction can be explained by delayed tooth eruption. Surely you are going to see some more caries in those with erupted teeth then those whose teeth are still erupting? Now we have even more evidence that what little, and I mean little, benefit the proponents bandy around may not even exist... The deeper and more important question remains - why fluoride delays teeth eruption, failure to drive is directly linked to the thyroid and given fluoride's propensity to suppress thyroid function - obviously this is very serious!

Water Fluoridation Delays Tooth Eruption Rather Than Fighting Cavities (orignal is here)

"This isn't just about teeth any longer. When fluoridation is seen to cause delayed tooth eruption, what else is it doing to our bodies?", says Robert J. Fleming, President of Canadians Opposed to Fluoridation ~ Canadiens Opposés à la Fluoration. “Public health needs to brush up on the latest research. Repeating opinions, endorsements and name-dropping will no longer cut it.”

Toronto, April 4, 2011 – At a meeting held by the Toronto Board of Health to review and vote on the Toronto Medical Officer's Fluoridation Report today, COF-COF President Robert J. Fleming calls on the city of Toronto to hold an open and transparent public hearing on water fluoridation's continuance. "After all, Toronto has been fluoridating since 1963, and if elected decision makers are genuinely interested in public process, informed consent, healthy debate, and science concerning fluoridation, such a hearing is a fair way to proceed.

According to Statistics Canada drinking fluoridated water over one's lifetime results in less than one whole cavity reduction per person. What's more, worldwide research demonstrates this minuscule cavity reduction can be explained by delayed tooth eruption, caused by fluoridated water. In fact, the most recent research finds fluoridation delays tooth eruption by as much as two years, thereby accounting for all of fluoridation's claimed benefit.

The fewer teeth erupted at any given age, the fewer tooth surfaces exposed to the mouth's acid decay. Yet as COF-COF President Robert J. Fleming points out in his response to the Toronto Medical Officer's Fluoridation Report being tabled and voted upon by Toronto's Board of Health this afternoon, the report ignores this statistic and other key research showing a lack of evidence that fluoridation actually fights cavities.

"In other words fluoridation doesn't really work the way we were told, but is actually due to delayed tooth eruption. Such findings should topple water fluoridation practice once and for all", says Fleming.

"Why put industrial waste fluoridation, and its trace co-contaminates arsenic, lead, mercury and radionuclides into otherwise clean drinking water, when the decay reduction is so minuscule, and actually due to delayed tooth eruption?" says Fleming. “We are deeply disappointed with the errors and omissions of this report.

Rather than a serious investigation of fluoridation and its effects, Toronto's Medical Officer has produced yet another cursory response. Toronto's Board of Health should refuse to accept such an unprofessional report.”

If water fluoridation doesn't actually protect the tooth enamel like we were told, water fluoridation deserves serious rethinking", says Fleming.

ABOUT COF-COF:
Our team of volunteers, experts and professionals want and hope for you to become fully informed regarding water fluoridation. As I began to learn, I was astounded and moved to share openly what we had all come to realize. That science supporting water fluoridation remains weak throughout six-decades of fluoridating, while science pointing to fluoridation health and environmental harms continues to emerge. Politics and saving face seem to be the main stumbling blocks to releasing scientific truth about water fluoridation; science clearly indicating it's time to end this outdated practice.

Robert J. Fleming is the current President of Canadians Opposed to Fluoridation ~ Canadiens Opposés à la Fluoration (COF-COF). He is also the Executive Director of www.WaterlooWatch.com, which lead the successful charge to end fluoridation in Waterloo, Ontario.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Fleming debated Health Canada's Chief Dental Officer (Dr. Peter Cooney) in Waterloo, mere days before citizens voted to shut-off Waterloo's 45 year practice of water fluoridation.

Canadians Opposed to Fluoridation ~ Canadiens Opposés à la Fluoration have it on record from Statistics Canada and Health Canada that drinking fluoridated water over one's lifetime amounts to less than one whole cavity reduction per person. An audio recording provided by COF-COF (attached here) has Cooney initially dispelling such minuscule fluoridation benefit, but Cooney soon finds himself trapped by recently cited Statistics Canada research proving Fleming's claim to be true. Ultimately, Cooney agrees water fluoridation results in less than one whole cavity reduction regardless of the person's age.

Critics of fluoridation have long argued that the tiny reduction in tooth decay celebrated by pro-fluoridationists is really due to delay in tooth eruption which is observed in fluoridated communities. The fewer teeth erupted at any given age, the fewer tooth surfaces exposed to the mouth's acid decay.

Delayed eruption of just one year would account for these small decay reductions claimed in the US, Australian and New Zealand studies published since 1990 ( Brunelle and Carlos, 1990; Slade et al., 1996; Spencer et al., 1996; Armfield et al., 2009; Armfield, 2010). These studies have found reductions ranging from 0.12 of one permanent tooth surface saved (Spencer et al., 1996) to 0.6 of one permanent tooth surface saved (Brunelle and Carlos, 1990) out of approximately 100 tooth surfaces in a child's mouth.

In 1999, the National Health and Medical Research Council, Australia's peak Medical Research body, noted “evidence exists that tooth eruption is delayed in fluoridated areas. It has been suggested that a proper comparison of caries rates should involve children one year older in fluoridated areas than in non-fluoridated areas.”

In 2000, the York Review (the most comprehensive review of the evidence on fluoridation and tooth decay published at that time) pointed out that none of the studies they reviewed had controlled for "the number of erupted teeth per child” (McDonagh et al., 2000, p.24). However, in 2005, Komarek et al. did control for eruption of teeth and reported no difference in decay between children living in Belgium receiving fluoride supplements (and those who weren't) that was relatable to fluoride exposure.

In 2009, Peiris et al. reported that children in largely fluoridated Australia had a delay in "dental age" of 0.82 years compared to children in largely unfluoridated UK. However, the authors did not discuss the possible reasons for this delay and the number of children involved in the study (about 80 in each country) was not very large.

Just recently, Merilyn Haines, the Director of the newly formed group FAN-Australia (Fluoride Action Network - Australia) found startling statistics buried deep in official research material by ARCPOH (the Australian Research Centre Population Oral Health at the Adelaide Dental School).

Data obtained through freedom of information by Haines shows that 5 to 12 year old children surveyed in the period 2003-2004 from the largely non-fluoridated state of Queensland (<5% fluoridated before 2009) had significantly more permanent teeth present in their mouths, than did their counterparts in the fluoridated states. This data suggests that there can be a dental age difference of 2 years (see graph below). This adds tremendous weight to the existing evidence that ingested fluoride delays the eruption of teeth, and thus the very slight difference in tooth decay seen between fluoridated and non-fluoridated areas is due to delayed tooth eruption, not genuine prevention of tooth decay.

Subject: What are we to do about fraud?

Monday April 11, 2011

Councillor Tim Tierney
City Hall

Ottawa, Ontario
K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

There have been claims made that "The addition of fluoride to drinking water is a highly beneficial process with no known harmful effects, as shown by numerous studies and years of public and scientific scrutiny." These claims are not sustained by any research. The paucity of scientific research on the effects of fluoridation to human health are deafening by their absence. The little data that do exist have been shown to be either fraudulent or misrepresented as to their content and their results.

Consider the very fact that the fluorine element is the single most chemically reactive element on earth and you begin to realize that there exists even some remote possibility that fluoride compounds ingested by humans will cause some harmful effects. There are roughly 1.757 x 10 to the power of 19 atoms of negative fluoride ions in every 250 ml glass of fluoridated water that you drink containing 7 ppm of the usual fluoride substance used to fluoridate most tap water in North America, and that substance is a fluorosilicate, used for over 90% of fluoridation practices. It's a toxic waste by-product from the phosphate fertilizer industry that the EPA has banned as a contaminant that can not be dumped into any water body, into the air or into the ground. You have come to know this acid to be hydrofluorosilicic acid.

This toxic substance can be delivered by tanker truck to a water treatment facility where it has magically become a healthy substance fit for ingestion. Odd thing, though, only less than 1% of today's tap water ends up as being used for drinking. The rest goes down the drain from washing dishes, clothes, cars, floors, driveways, from bathtubs, showers, lawn sprinkling, gardening, for putting out fires, for numerous commercial and industrial uses, well, you get the picture. So, guess what, it still ends up in the environment where it was originally and is still banned by the EPA.

This makes the practice a fraud by itself, having also been originally implemented by fraudulent studies in the first place and sold to North Americans and the world by fraudulent marketing. This makes it the greatest fraud of the 20th century if not of the whole history of mankind, ever perpetrated on the American public and on the world. It is said that the bigger the lie, the easier it is to sell it because it is difficult to believe that it can be a lie when properly promoted.

Every statement made in this letter can be substantiated by currently available data from scientific research or from other reliable sources.

Subject: Significant harm to health from hydrofluorosilicic acid used as a fluoridation agent

April 14, 2011

Councillor Tim Tierney
City Hall
110 Laurier Avenue W
Ottawa , Ontario
K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

It is not debatable that the use of hydrofluorosilicic acid as a fluoride substance for water fluoridation can cause significant harm to humans as well as to other mammals. That this acid is harmful to your health and mine is now a scientific fact whether it remains hidden behind a wall of silence or not.

The real question is by how much does the acid added to the drinking water consumed by the majority of North Americans significantly contribute to that harm.

The answer is beyond any doubt that it does contribute significantly according to each individual consumer's sensitivity to the acid in combination with other toxins because of factors such as:

    1. variations in the amount of fluoridated water consumed,
    2. the amount of fluoride substance:
      a) ingested,
      b) inhaled, and
      c) absorbed through the skin
    from other sources,
    3. state of health or illness,
    4. overall chemical sensitivities,
    5. duration of period of exposure, and
    6. individual differences in metabolic reactivity to fluorine ions,

make it a statistical certainty that a significantly large number of the millions of individuals that are consuming fluoridated water will be harmed.

Paraphrased from — Elaine H. Wacholtz

From: AD <email@domain.name>
Subject: Ottawa Public Health
To: "Fleury, Mathieu" Mathieu.Fleury@ottawa.ca
Received: Thursday, April 14, 2011, 3:35 AM

Dear Councillor Fleury,

I hope this email finds you well. I wrote to you several weeks ago regarding my deep concern for the critical public health issue that is water fluoridation. I have been provided with a highly unsatisfactory cut-and-paste formulated letter from the medical officer of health simply citing the recommendations of various health organizations.

Firstly, I would like to request copies of all research that purportedly proves the safety of fluoride and has lead to the conclusion that it should be allowed in our water.

Secondly, in the interest of your constituents and the citizens of Ottawa, I would like to know your personal opinion on this matter and if you have ever examined any of the quoted scientific data yourself or are simply following the recommendations of various health officials.

Given that most people don't seem to realize it, I would like to emphasize that all health organizations in the world are subject to fallability and have demonstrated it consistently throughout history. From campaigns by misguided doctors promoting cigarettes in the mid twentieth century, to Health Canada's errors in pharmaceutical regulation there are no shortage of examples. We need look no furthur than Health Canada's overwhelming drug recall list for examples of consistent scientific error in a national health regulating agency. Please see: http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/compli-conform/recall-retrait/_list/index-eng.php

Below I will attach a small portion of the scientific evidence demonstrating the toxic and harmful effects of fluoride on various physiological processes in the human body. Any real scientist who has thoroughly examined the evidence demonstrating the harm done by fluoride, could not make such a statement that the evidence is 'anecdotal.' I n fact it seems that it's quite likely to the contrary. The existence of such evidence warrants at minimum a moratorium on water fluoridation until more research is conducted.

For convenience, I have provided links to the Fluoride Action Network's website that has a comprehensively organized list of various studies and articles regarding fluorides effects on the body. Please scroll to the bottom of each respective page to find links to original studies and journal articles.

Subject: Ottawa Public Health

Dear Councillor Clark,

I hope you are well. I wrote to you several weeks ago regarding my concern for the serious public health risk that is water fluoridation. I must express my disappointment at your lack of response to this important matter. I have already contacted the MHO and received the city's official cut and paste response to my concern which I have found to be highly unsatisfactory.

I understand that it would be natural for someone in your position to simply follow the recommendations of various city health officials. I n the interest of your constituents and the citizens of Ottawa, however, I would like to know your personal opinion on this matter and if you have ever examined any evidence cited by the City that is used to claim that water fluoridation is safe? Secondly , I would like to request copies of all research that supposedly proves the safety of fluoride and has lead to the conclusion that it should be allowed in our water

Seeming that most people don't seem to realize it, I would like to emphasize that all health organizations in the world are subject to fallability and have demonstrated it consistently throughout history.

Below I have included links to a small portion of the scientific evidence demonstrating the toxic and harmful effects of fluoride on various physiological processes in the human body.

The list goes on and on Mr. Clark, on behalf of the people of Ottawa, I urge you to examine some of this evidence yourself. It is my belief and hope that you will come to the conclusion that fluoride's safety is sufficiently questionable to have it removed from our water. “When in doubt, leave it out” I can only iterate that this issue will only grow in magnitude in the near future as Ottawans become increasingly outraged at what has been allowed to go on for far too long.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, I am earnestly anticipating your reply,

Plans to take fluoride out of Calgary's drinking water are going ahead.

Alberta Environment says it reviewed four statements of concern over city council's decision to discontinue fluoride in Calgary water.

The city voted 10-3 in February to stop adding fluoride to the city's drinking water.

Two dentists, a doctor and Alberta Health Services urged Alberta Environment to reject the city's application, saying fluoride use prevents tooth decay.

It costs Calgary about $750,000 a year to add fluoride to the water.

But Alberta Environment spokesperson Carrie Sancartier said the concerns of the four intervenors were not accepted.

"We were looking for someone to demonstrate a specific relationship between what their concern was and the proposed changes," she said. "None of the statements has been accepted."

Now, it's up to the city to finish the paperwork and Alberta Environment will sign off on the decision so the use of fluoride can be discontinued.

Calgary Councillors are to be applauded.

They clearly understood it is not ethical to add a medication (NOT a nutrient) to the water supply.

They also understood that as with all medications there are side effects for many individuals.

They also realized that no one can control the amount of water any particular individual drinks on any given day and that once in the water, no one can thus control the dose (amount) of fluoride substance that is swallowed concurrently with the amount of water being consumed.

They also understood that fluoride's benefit is topical not systemic

They also understood that taxpayers' money spent on fluoridating Calgary's water is wasteful.

Don't you think this also applies to Ottawa?

Please do not forward a response with the standard statement from either the Dental or the Medical Officer of Health in response to this letter. I am all too familiar with these statements that are full of misrepresentations of facts and misleading, unproven statements, not the least of which is the verifiably false claim that the WHO endorses water fluoridation.

Dear Councillor Tierney,

Congratulations on this most excellent suggestion. The next step is to make sure we don't pay through the nose for its implementation.

One solution is to trade dollars from somewhere that money is being wasted and put it into this solution. Guess where some of that money could come from?

With nearly half a million dollars being wasted in a program that is not producing any results at all, but is proven to have the opposite of its purported effect you could effectively maximize the impact of your idea. See me coming with a difficult decision? Yep.

The injection of hydrofluorosilicic acid as a fluo.ride.ation agent is a failed program sold to us all on fraudulent and grossly misrepresented data. And it continues to be sold that way by none other than Dr. Peter Cooney and all Dental spokespersons across the country.

Plus, it's costing parents of children afflicted with dental fluorosis caused by this practice up to $20,000 to repair the more serious cases. This is a real calculation given to me personally by Dr. Hardy Limeback, BSc, PhD, DDS, Professor and Head, Preventive Dentistry,  Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.

Dr. Robert Dixon, MD. PhD, Calgary says: "My dental friends here in Calgary tell me that moderate-severe fluorosis will cost the patient from $15,000-25,000 or more to repair. Then there is the psychological aspect, on which it is impossible to put a price tag."

The curtain is lifting, exposing the degree of deception at the root of the Fluoridegate scandal and highlighting the liability of both municipal water providers and private companies. I smell a huge lawsuit potential brewing here that will quickly spill over into Canada, and, into Ottawa. All bets are off. You'll be on the hook if you do nothing to stop this awful tragedy.

Subject: Letter from Mr. James Robert Deal, Attorney

April 26, 2011

Councillor Tim Tierney
City Hall

Ottawa, Ontario
K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

Here is the partial content of a privileged 30 page letter written by Mr. James Robert Deal, Attorney, WSBA Number 8103, President, http://Fluoride-Class-Action.com to the U.S. Human Health Services (HHS) and their Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) after much thought, research and consultation with numerous experts, specialists and scientists on the subject of artificial water fluoridation. Though the paragraphs numbered 3, 4 and 5 are highly technical, they are provided as proof of science. Please note especially the sections in red contained in paragraphs 2. 3 and 5. Paragraphs 6, 7, 8 and 9 are very relevant to the fluoridation fiasco and fraud of which we are now the victims in our city.

1. One of the most important lines of evidence that has been ignored is that which connects silicofluorides with increased lead in water.

2. Both requests for comment look back to the 2006 NRC [U.S.A.] Report ( http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=11571), which suggested many topics which EPA should study in connection with drinking water fluoridation. The long list of topics included the following: caries, fluorosis, and bone fractures, fertility, thyroid function, increased calcitonin activity, increased parathyroid hormone activity, secondary hyperparathyroidism, impaired glucose tolerance, and possible effects on timing of sexual maturity, endocrine effects and brain function, osteosarcoma. See 2006 NRC Report, “Research Needs” (http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=11571&page=11), pages 11-12, which mention “brain function” as a needed area of research, which points to lead which causes serious neurological harm. NRC also suggested on page 52-53 under “Fluorosilicates” (http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=11571&page=52) that EPA do further research on the connection between silicofluorides and lead uptake:

3. Most fluoride in drinking water is added in the form of fluosilicic acid (hydro/hexafluorosilicic acid, H2SiF6) or the sodium salt (sodium fluosilicate, Na2SiF6), collectively referred to as fluorosilicates (CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USA] 1993). Of approximately 10,000 fluoridated water systems included in the CDC's 1992 fluoridation census, 75% of them (accounting for 90% of the people served) used fluorosilicates. This widespread use of silicofluorides has raised concerns on at least two levels. First, some authors have reported an association between the use of silicofluorides in community water and elevated blood concentrations of lead in children (Masters and Coplan 1999; Masters et al. 2000); this association is attributed to increased uptake of lead (from whatever source) due to incompletely dissociated silicofluorides remaining in the drinking water (Masters and Coplan 1999; Masters et al. 2000) or to increased leaching of lead into drinking water in systems that use chloramines (instead of chlorine as a disinfectant) and silicofluorides (Allegood 2005; Clabby 2005; Maas et al. 2005).12,13

4. Use of more sophisticated analytical techniques such as nuclear magnetic resonance has failed to detect any silicon- and fluorine-containing species other than hexafluorosilicate ion (SiF62-) (Urbansky 2002; Morris 2004). In drinking water at approximately neutral pH and typical fluoride concentrations, all the silicofluoride appears to be dissociated entirely to silicic acid [Si(OH)4], fluoride ion, and HF (Urbansky 2002; Morris 2004); any intermediate species either exist at extremely low concentrations or are highly transient. SiF62- would be present only under conditions of low pH (pH < 5; Urbansky 2002; Morris 2004) and high fluoride concentration (above 16 mg/L according to Urbansky [2002]; at least 1 g/L to reach detectable levels of SiF62-, according to Morris [2004]). Urbansky (2002) also stated that the silica contribution from the fluoridating agent is usually trivial compared with native silica in the water; therefore, addition of any fluoridating agent (or the presence of natural fluoride) could result in the presence of SiF62- in any water if other conditions (low pH and high total fluoride concentration) are met. Both Urbansky (2002) and Morris (2004) indicate that other substances in the water, especially metal cations, might form complexes with fluoride, which, depending on pH and other factors, could influence the amount of fluoride actually present as free fluoride ion. For example, P.J. Jackson et al. (2002) have calculated that at pH 7, in the presence of aluminum, 97.46% of a total fluoride concentration of 1 mg/L is present as fluoride ion, but at pH 6, only 21.35% of the total fluoride is present as fluoride ion, the rest being present in various aluminum fluoride species (primarily AlF2+ and AlF3). Calculations were not reported for pH <6.

5. Further research should include analysis of the concentrations of fluoride and various fluoride species or complexes present in tap water, using a range of water samples (e.g., of different hardness and mineral content). In addition, given the expected presence of fluoride ion (from any fluoridation source) and silica (native to the water) in any fluoridated tap water, it would be useful to examine what happens when that tap water is used to make acidic beverages or products (commercially or in homes), especially fruit juice from concentrate, tea, and soft drinks. Although neither Urbansky (2002) nor Morris (2004) discusses such beverages, both indicate that at pH < 5, SiF62- would be present, so it seems reasonable to expect that some SiF62- would be present in acidic beverages but not in the tap water used to prepare the beverages. Consumption rates of these beverages are high for many people, and therefore the possibility of biological effects of SiF62-, as opposed to free fluoride ion, should be examined.

6. HHS (U.S. Human Health Services) and EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) avoided the silicofluoride and lead issue. They chose to do research only on caries, fluorosis, and brittle bones.

7. NRC (U.S.) suggested that further research be done on the silicofluoride-lead issue, however, neither HHS nor EPA did such further research. They only addressed caries, fluorosis, and bone fractures. Nevertheless, HHS and EPA had the audacity to recommend that fluoridation be continued, although at a lower level. HHS and EPA should immediately retract any recommendation that fluoridation be continued.

8. Why have HHS and EPA avoided doing broad research on all topics pertaining to fluoridation? I can only speculate. The best hypothesis I can come up with is that they do not want to find what they would find if they did broad research. Their primary commitment is not to our health or pure water but to please the chemical industry that has infiltrated these agencies with former chemical industry employees.

Mr. Deal concludes his submission with the following statement:

9. “This letter is also intended to be read by all those who are forced to drink highly diluted toxic waste and want to see this crude practice ended. If you are interested in seeing the full submission, do not hesitate to contact me and I will forward it to you with all due speed.”

I continue to request action and a response as detailed in previous letters and remain,

Don't Feed Babies Fluoridated Water say NYS Health Officials

New York – April 2011 -- Babies fed infant formula mixed with New York 's fluoridated tap water risk developing enamel fluorosis or discolored teeth, according to the New York State Department of Health.1 Bureaucrats fail to effectively broadcast this vital information beyond their little-read websites which places babies at unnecessary risk of developing fluoride-damaged teeth, reports the NYS Coalition Opposed to Fluoridation, Inc. (NYSCOF).

Fluoride chemicals are added to tap water serving 12 million New Yorkers (8.4 million in NYC) in a failed effort to reduce tooth decay. Fluoridation costs NYC about $20 million yearly.2

In 2006, the National Research Council (NRC) cautioned that infants can fluoride-overdose via reconstituted baby formula using “optimally” fluoridated water and risk growing white spotted, yellow, brown and/or pitted permanent teeth (enamel fluorosis).3

“Parents, who are concerned about the risk of enamel fluorosis, can mix liquid concentrate or powdered infant formula with water that is fluoride-free or contains low levels of fluoride. Examples are water that is labeled purified, demineralized, deionized, distilled or reverse osmosis filtered water,” according to the NYS DoH's website (1) Advanced enamel fluorosis (pitting, brown stains) can be reached with exclusive and/or excessive formula use over a prolonged period, they report.

“Of course, parents are concerned about possibly disfiguring their baby's brand new teeth,” says attorney Paul Beeber, NYSCOF President. “Officials should inform new mothers about this in every way they can. Instead they omit or downplay its significance seemingly to protect fluoridation policy,” says Beeber

Over 41% of adolescents are afflicted with enamel or dental fluorosis, reports the CDC.4

“As a cosmetic dentist, it is not uncommon to have patients receive gorgeous porcelain veneers to correct their dental fluorosis…Costs range from several hundred dollars to well over $25,000 and need to be retreated every 10 to 20 years for life time costs which may exceed $100,000 per person, writes Bill Osmunson DDS in the British Medical Journal.5

Fluoride exposure is rising and causing children's tooth imperfections, ranging from white spots to brownish discolorations and pitting, according to dentist Elivir Dincer in the NYS Dental Journal. “Such changes in the tooth's appearance can affect the child's self- esteem," Dincer writes.6

The NYS DoH joins many fluoridation-promoting organizations which quietly advise against feeding fluoridated-water to infants, e.g., US Dept of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry , Mayo Clinic, California Dental Association, Vermont Department of Health, Minnesota Dental Association, Delta Dental, and others.

“All formula, either concentrates or ready-to-feed, [already] have some fluoride,” says Dr. Howard Koh, Assistant Secretary for Health, US Department of Health and Human Services.7 Koh advises low-fluoride bottled water be used for routinely reconstituting infant formula.

“Government and University officials who protect the chemical fluoride over children's health should be de-funded including researchers, state health commissioners and their dental bureaus,” says Beeber.

The Fairbanks, Alaska City Fluoride Task Force recommends ending fluoridation because, “ This will reduce, but not eliminate, the risk of significant incidence and severity of fluorosis, especially fluorosis associated with the use of [ Fairbanks fluoridated] water to prepare infant formula.”8

In 1990, some scientists tried in vain to get the word out. (“Suppression by Medical Journals of a Warning about Overdosing Formula-Fed Infants With Fluoride,” Journal Accountability in Research )9

FluorideGate? A recent article in an American Association for Justice newsletter for trial lawyers described potential upcoming fluoride legal actions based on personal injury, consumer fraud, and civil rights harm.10

What will you do to protect infants from being poisoned by this toxic waste product being dripped into our tap water? It's as easy as printing a conspicuously placed and visibly sized and coloured warning on water bills for mothers of infants under 2 years of age to not use fluoridated tap water to make up and feed their children reconstituted infant formula or any other foods prepared for them using fluoridated water? Is this too much to ask?

A copy of this email has been sent to the MOH and to the DOH under separate cover requesting any valid,, written proof of contrary information and if none, that action be taken to protect infants from the possibility of tooth damage from dental fluorosis from the use of hydrofluorosilicic acid as a fluoridation agent.

Major Corporations Changing Statements on Safety of Fluorides

Developments Add to Focus on Centers for Disease Control Amid Growing Calls for Fluoridegate Hearings and Investigations

Ellijay, GA – In a stunning development certain to gain the attention of risk managers at water utilities around the world, key toothpaste manufacturers and other organizations are changing how they portray the safety or risks of fluorides and water fluoridation.

Colgate-Palmolive is now selling an unfluoridated toothpaste for infants and toddlers. The label on the brightly colored, child-friendly packaging boldly states, “Fluoride-free. Safe if swallowed."

Orajel toothpaste is similarly now available as a toddler training toothpaste without fluoride. Information at the product website says it is “fluoride-free so it's safe if swallowed when used as directed." GlaxoSmithKline's Aquafresh brand training toothpaste for babies and children under two years old, depicted in recent television commercials, is labeled "Fluoride-free toothpaste. Safe to swallow." Daniel G. Stockin of The Lillie Center Inc. in Georgia, a firm working to end water fluoridation, says, “If these kinds of toothpastes are now advertised as being ‘safe' without fluoride, what does that say about safety previously for the millions of young children who used toothpaste with fluoride?”

He also adds, “Perhaps the bigger question is, “Why are children told to spit out the fluoride in a pea-sized amount of regular fluoridated toothpaste, but the Centers for Disease Control strangely continues to say it's safe to ingest the same amount and more, every day, in fluoridated city water?”

Harm from consuming uncontrolled amounts of fluoridated drinking water is drawing increased attention due to a number of recent developments.

Civil rights leaders in Atlanta have called for a halt to water fluoridation. Cities such as Quebec have stopped adding fluoride to their water. A New York City Councilman has introduced a bill to stop fluoridation in New York City. Consumer advocate Ralph Nader has called attention to concerns about total dosing of fluorides from all sources. In February, Tennessee state legislators from both political parties noted growing calls for Fluoridegate investigations in a letter to the state's health commissioner.

Other corporations and organizations are also weighing in on the issue of fluorides affecting sensitive populations.

Gerber is selling an unfluoridated bottled water so parents of young babies can avoid using fluoridated city water to mix infant milk formula.

Gerber's website openly states that its water, “is not sponsored or endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics or the American Dental Association."

The National Kidney Foundation withdrew its endorsement of water fluoridation in 2008, noting in a new position statement that, "Additional research on the risks and extent of fluoride exposure for the potentially susceptible population of [chronic kidney disease] patients with impaired kidney function is recommended." The National Research Council's report on fluorides in 2006 documented that fluoridation commenced decades ago without knowing what fluoridated water would do to kidney patients. The report stated that, "Early water fluoridation studies did not carefully assess changes in renal function."

In addition to new statements on fluorides from various organizations, fluoride supplement manufacturers are dwindling. According to the American Dental Association's website, for undisclosed reasons a number of corporations have discontinued production of fluoride supplements in recent years. According to ADA, fluoride supplements are not recommended for children under six months of age.

The legal implications of all the fluoride-related developments are gaining the attention of law firms.

Kentucky attorney Robert Reeves says, “The story from the Centers for Disease Control that water fluoridation is “safe for all” has now been shown to be categorically untrue. Black Americans and other minorities, kidney patients, babies, diabetics, and seniors are all disproportionately harmed by fluoridation. Citizens are ingesting fluorides from other sources also. The story from fluoride promoters keeps changing. This is why we're seeing calls for Fluoridegate hearings. We're witnessing the unraveling of the Fluoridegate scandal and a perfect storm of liability forming here.”

A 1999 criticism of fluoride supplements in the journal Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology addressed growing amounts of permanent “dental fluorosis” teeth staining, stating: "The risk is that noticeable fluorosis will be perceived by the public as a toxic consequence of fluoride ingestion - which, arguably, it is - and there will be a reaction against all uses of fluoride..."

The article also said, "There does not seem to be scientific evidence to support the widespread use of fluoride supplements by young children, even in the absence of fluoride in water."

You need to stop avoiding responding to my emails. They need to be responded to. It is unethical for you to continue to remain unresponsive to my emails, and to my requests. It is also political suicide and will work on our behalf when word gets out to the general public that this issue is not being addressed by you or any other Councillor...

The only possible and viable option that you have here is the support of cessation of artificial water fluoridation. So, what is stopping you? What are you afraid of? Our group of activists continues to grow and we will not relent. Not until this practice is halted! Are you familiar with pitbull dogs? That's us!... We are your pitbull!... We are this City's pitbull and we will not be put down.

Please commit to ending the use of hydrofluorosilicic acid for artificial water fluoridation. We will help you do this with the immense resources now available to us. I will soon be in a position to advise you of other members of Council who will be supporting the cessation of this practice. Please advise of your readiness to do so.

Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.

Subject: Legal requirements of product use

May 4, 2011

Councillor Tim Tierney
City of Ottawa
110 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

I hope this email finds you in good health, and that you will soon see the impact that the use of hydrofluorosilicic acid for artificial tap water fluoridation will one day have on your health.

Should you chose to do a bit of research on the subject, you would find that the following applies to the misuse of that acid.

The scientific and legal determination of safety of the use of a product is based on two types of research:

  1. Animal studies (Toxicology Studies)
  2. Human studies (Clinical Trials)
All actual silicofluoride product used in artificial tap water fluoridation have neither the required animal studies (toxicology studies) nor the required human studies (clinical trials) to determine safety.

There are NO CLINICAL TRIALS (randomized, controlled trials) using fluorosilicates.

It is a known and published fact that these products are used as medication for dental caries: fluoride is unregulated, unapproved and untested for that use, therefore it is illegal.

In the absence of these studies, any claims that these products are "safe" are illogical, false, misleading and illegal. More important than that, such products are likely to be dangerous to human health, and I am being willfully truthful and blunt here, dangerous to your own personal health and that of your family, especially your children.

In my view, as someone with a generous heart, you should be concerned and prepared to act against even the remotest possibility that anyone could be harmed by the use of a product such as this acid. It's part of the human spirit to protect any vulnerable fellowman from any threat. However, this acid is beyond just a threat. It's harm to health from ingestion is very real and very proximate.

Isn't it time you started considering your options for protecting your loved ones? How about protecting your constituents from this noxious acid? How about all of the residents of this City?

What are you prepared to do to protect the innocent victims of the fraudulent use of this substance?

“There is no nonsense so errant that it cannot be made the creed of the vast majority by adequate governmental action.” — Bertrand Russell.

Awaiting a response, I remain,

Respectfully yours

Subject: What are you drinking now?

Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. You may remember that I wrote something about this subject some time ago, but it bears repeating.

The hydrofluorosilicic acid we are putting into our drinking water is not food grade, not dental grade and not pharmaceutical grade. It is not even the naturally occurring calcium fluoride we were all told about and sold on. [It's a highly toxic waste substance from the phosphate fertilizer industry called hydrofluorosilicic acid, chemical formula: H2SiF6]

Hydrofluorosilicic acid [HFS] has never been tested for human consumption, human health, human safety, or even its effectiveness in fighting dental cavities.

Hydrofluorosilicic acid contains inorganic silicofluoride. It also contains trace co-contaminants such as lead, arsenic and mercury.

Hydrofluorosilicic acid has yet to be proven safe for systemic ingestion.

(Compliments of Sharon Cornish, Fluoridation-Free Calgary. My additions in [ ].)

There are also other elemental contaminants in the HFS solution that this acid comes in, such as fluorine, phosphorus, hydrogen fluoride, barium, cadmium, chromium, iron, iodine, silver, plus undocumented uranium 238, radon and other radionuclides.

Fluorosilicic Acid (H2SiF6), [CASRN 16961-83-4], Review of Toxicological Literature, Karen E. Haneke, M.S. & Bonnie L. Carson, M.S., for Scott Masten, Ph.D., National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, pp. i & ii, October 2001

Are you and the rest of your family still drinking city water? I hope not, for the sake of your health.

Every statement made in this letter can be corroborated by currently available data from scientific research or from other reliable sources.

Once again, I am asking for a personal response here. Please do not reply with the standard statement from either the Dental or the Medical Officer of Health.

Please seriously considering bringing an end to injection of hydrofluorosilicic acid used for the fluoridation of our municipal water supply, by putting forward a motion for either a moratorium on this wasteful and unlawful practice until hard, verifiable and valid data are available about its benefits, or voting it out of existence because such valid data is non-existent?

Sincerely,

Subject: Fluoride Prevents Cavities - by topical application

May 19, 2011

Councillor Tim Tierney
City of Ottawa

Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

I hope this email finds you and your family in continued good health.

This from the CDC. Overview: Infant Formula and Fluorosis at http://www.cdc.gov/fluoridation/safety/infant_formula.htm.

“Using only water with low fluoride levels to mix formula will reduce, but will not eliminate, the risk for dental fluorosis. Children can take in fluoride from other sources during the time that teeth are developing (birth through age 8). These sources include drinking water, foods and beverages processed with fluoridated water, and dental products, such as fluoride toothpaste, that can be swallowed by young children whose swallowing reflex is not fully developed.”

If fluoride prevents cavities, it is by directly applying to the tooth surface - not by swallowing.

We should not drink sunscreen or fluoride because...

  • they are toxic to swallow

  • they do not work by swallowing

With regard to fluoride substances:

“Its actions primarily are topical for both adults and children.” Source: US Centers for Disease Control 1999.

It has been confirmed that Dr. Peter Cooney has publicly denied this assertion. Would you care to comment?

The above having been known since 1999, and further recent data are now confirming this beyond any doubt, why do health authorities continue to insist on promoting and insist on the implementation of Artificial Drinking Water Fluoridation, especially using hydrofluorosilicic acid, which is not a food grade, not a pharmaceutical grade and not a dental grade of fluoride?

I am asking for your personal response to my letter and a statement of your position whether opposed , undecided or in favor of using hydrofluorosilicic acid as a fluoridation agent in our water supply.

How about getting Council to vote for a moratorium on fluoridation until it is definitely proven to be safe and effective as claimed? There currently remians no proof to that effect anywhere!

The pleasure of your response is anxiously awaited.

Sincerely

Subject: Some bureaucrats have too much say in City policies

May 30, 2011.

Councillor Tim Tierney
City of Ottawa

Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. You may remember that I wrote something similar to this subject some time ago, but it's an important reminder.

Water fluoridation is the worst medical practice ever perpetrated on Ottawa residents. Any doctor who would force medicate people in this manner would have their medical practice shut down. Why? Because medical ethics forbid forced medication; and because the substance used is not dental grade, not pharmaceutical grade, not even food grade fluoride. It is hydrofluorosilicic acid. Check the City's web site here: fluoride_en.html, 4th block down. As of March 2010, it was still right there on the City web site, all prettied up with allegations and misrepresentations of benefit. I have made a copy for the paragraph in case it is ever decided to change it. Most dentists don't even know the name of the acid used, let alone it's harmful effects. They believe that what is used is a perfectly safe substance for water fluoridation. Well, I have news for them on that count too! No amount of any fluoride substance in the water supply is safe. It will cause health problems at one point or other in everyone that consumes fluorinated water: from dental fluorosis to fertility and all manner of illnesses in between.

Yet bureaucrats who are not practicing medical doctors but have these official sounding titles can promote poisoning us with this toxic waste product from the phosphate fertilizer industry. You can check the name of that substance on the internet and see for yourself what a horrible substance it is. To add insult to injury, there is no adequate margin of safety to protect everyone from the known harmful effects of any fluoride added to the water supply. And you are unable to refuse this medication because it's in the water! You actually have to buy expensive, high quality, reverse osmosis machines or home distiller to get out the fluoride or spend an exorbitant amount of money to buy distilled water. So, you pay for this water on your water bill that is contaminated with this toxic waste substance and you have to pay for pure water as well, if you want to drink non contaminated water. That's totally unjust! It's absolutely preposterous!

“It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself.” — Thomas Jefferson.

So please, won't you start doing something to get this horrible acid out of our drinking water? Like putting a motion to Council on getting a moratorium on its use or banning it all together? Please let me know when you decide to act so our group may help you execute your plan of action.

Are you afraid of repercussions if you do act?
Is there some kind of peer pressure stopping you from acting on my suggestion?
Is it too much to ask to protect Ottawa's residents from all of the possible known side effects of fluorinating our water supply?
Is it right that some of us should suffer ill health because some bureaucrats believe that fluoridation is good for someone's teeth when the contrary is actually known to be true?

Sincerely,

Subject: Fluoride is Classified as a Neurotoxin

Thursday, June 9, 2011

Councillor Tim Tierney
City of Ottawa

Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

Fluoride is Classified as a Neurotoxin

Once again I write to you wishing you good health and asking you to consider the subject of water fluoridation for what it is. A threat to the health of many, if not all, of the residents of Ottawa.

While the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) would have us all believe that fluoride is perfectly innocuous and safe, scientists from EPA's National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory has classified fluoride as a "chemical having substantial evidence of developmental neurotoxicity."2.

Consistent with EPA's conclusion, a continually growing body of human and animal research strongly suggests that fluoride can damage the developing brain.

Consider for example:
  • 24 studies have now reported an association between fluoride exposure and reduced IQ in children
  • Three studies have reported an association between fluoride exposure and impaired neurobehavioral development
  • Three studies have reported damage to the brain of aborted fetuses in high fluoride areas, and
  • Over 100 laboratory studies have reported damage to the brain and/or cognitive function among fluoride-exposed animals3.

Most of the 30 studies linking fluoride to reduced IQ, impaired neurobehavioral development, and fetal brain damage have come from China where fluoride occurs at moderate to high levels in the drinking water in what is known as “endemic areas for fluorosis.” While there have been shortcomings in the methodologies of some of these studies, they have been remarkably consistent in their findings. Children exposed to excessive fluoride have been consistently observed to suffer from some form of neurological impairment.

So please, won't you start doing something to get this horrible acid out of our drinking water? Like putting a motion to Council on getting a moratorium on its use or banning it all together.

Subject: Canada: Get Fluoride Out Of Water

Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 1J1

Dear Councillor Tierney,

I hope this email finds you in continued good health and ask you to please read the following entreaty and act in good conscience.

From: http://ukagainstfluoride.blogspot.com/2011/06/canada-get-fluoride-out-of-water.html

Canada - Get fluoride out of water

Editor:

It would appear that the anti-fluoride movement has hit critical mass, in that there now exists sufficient momentum for the movement that is both self-sustaining and growing. Politicians, legal pundits, and major corporations are paying attention and taking action against dispensing fluoride that according to the FDA is an “unapproved drug.”

For instance, city leaders in Calgary, Waterloo, and Verchères recently have elected to stop fluoridation, while in the U.S., civil rights leaders in Atlanta have called for a halt to the practice, a New York City councilman has introduced a bill to stop fluoridation, and Tennessee state legislators from both political parties have noted growing calls for Fluoridegate investigations in a letter to the state's health commissioner.

In a recent American Association for Justice newsletter article, “Fluoridegate and Fluoride Litigation: What Law Firms Need to Know About Fluoride Toxic Tort Actions” (Vol. 18, No. 2), the authors focus on “a growing fluoridegate” scandal, and that “government agencies and private sector groups are admitting concerns about the impact to the body from fluorides in numerous consumer products, including water, beverages, foods made with fluoridated water or containing fluoride fumigant residues, and oral care products.”

A partial list of defendants includes manufacturers of fluoridation chemicals, oral care product manufacturers, retailers, water utilities, medical and dental practitioners, and professional associations. Causes of legal action range from personal injury, failure to warn, negligent misrepresentation, medical or dental malpractice, and consumer fraud. Notably: “The curtain is lifting, exposing the degree of deception at the root of the fluoridegate scandal and highlighting the liability of both municipal water providers and private companies.”

The tipping point was when major corporations finally bent to public sentiment. Colgate-Palmolive and GlaxoSmithKline (Aquafresh) are selling ‘fluoride-free, safe if swallowed' toothpaste for infants and toddlers. Orajel has also produced a fluoride-free toothpaste, with the small print: “swallowing too much fluoride can cause fluorosis,” which as we all know is the disfiguring staining and pitting of teeth. Now they're telling us!?

Even Gerber is getting on the public relations bandwagon with unfluoridated bottled water so that parents of babies can avoid using fluoridated city water to mix baby formula.

Joanne Schilling

Prince George

posted by Bill at 10:16 AM

So, in light of the above, and public opinion hitting critical mass, one has to wonder if our city fathers will start to address the issue of the drug fluoride that is being illegally dispensed to Ottawa citizens.

Please let me know when you will be preparing to bring this matter before City Council to get a moratorium on this awful practice of water fluoridation using that poisonous hydrofluorosilicic acid as a fluorinating agent.

Sincerely
