Each of the leaflets should be printed on a thin card stock for distributing to apartments, condos, "super" mailboxes and business letter boxes. The size of each card once cut should be about 4 inches by 9 inches so it fits easily into mail boxes but differentiated slightly from envelopes when the postman puts it in with other mail.The use of thicker paper stock is important in handling for the postman when he transfers each leaflet from his postal delivery bag to the individual mailboxes, especially when it comes to slipping them into condo, appartment or those "super" mailboxes.
A friendly postman has advised me that we can distribute to all households, like town homes and single family homes, without any problem and we can find out where specific distribution areas are covered by all postal delivery persons (called postal walks) but when it comes to apartments, condos and "super" mailboxes, we have no choice but to go through the postal service to get our leaflets out to those recipients.
The Canada post business office can help us choose which apartments, condos and "super" mailboxes to distribbute to in order to get sufficient responses for our purpose.
