Health Canada response in Petition #221 to Auditor General of Canada: “Health Canada has not conducted toxicology studies on fluorosilicates.” The chemical used in Ottawa's water fluoridation is a fluorosilicate called hydrofluosilicic acid, chemical formula H2SiF6, and is a banned EPA contaminant that contains other contaminants in its final solution that are cancer causing and neurotoxic, as well as other contaminants, some of which are deadly radioactive, and it is used unpurified.A simple email or letter you can write to your City Councillor: Dear Councillor (name): Please exercise your right, duty and responsibility to end the wasteful and dangerous practice of water fluoridation in the City of Ottawa.
